Indoor Learning Facilities
Our bright and flexible indoor spaces have been uniquely designed to support the dynamic learning of our students. Our spaces are well-equipped with a range of materials ensuring a wholesome and effective learning environment.
Classrooms
Our classrooms have been set up to provide a welcoming, warm environment where lessons are taught through individual and group instructions, interactive and hands-on materials, and collective discussions. All our classrooms are well lit by natural light and are facing nature and greenery, not to mention the addition of many indoor plants to clean the air and refresh the space.
We strive to embody self-directed learning and interactive teaching throughout the school day, refraining from standard practices such as frontal and un-differentiated teaching. We have created well-equipped and attractive learning environments using beautiful and enticing hands-on materials as well as specific Montessori teaching tools with which our students, using all their senses, can be fully immersed in individual and collaborative learning.
Technology
Computers, Tablets, and a SmartBoard are available in the classrooms for students to use for their research and projects. They are distributed across the ages and meant to be used as an alternative resource along with books and our other educational materials.
Library
Students use our cozy library at the school regularly. We have a collection of 4500+ hand selected books in our library. They can enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, read and borrow books, and use the facility for research projects. Library visits are an integral part of literacy and are designed into the timetable.
We attach great importance to reading and take many steps to nurture students' love of books and develop the habit of becoming enthusiastic readers early on. We carefully choose and fill our library with meaningful and life-changing books. Book fairs, book swaps, celebrating book characters, and mystery readers are among the various ways we encourage a love for reading.
Specialised Spaces
Science Laboratory
As modern science places a much greater emphasis on practical activity and experimentation, the STEM lessons will be taught in our newly built science lab.
Music Room
Our newly created music room is a well-equipped space for our students to develop their musical interests. Whether it is learning about music theory, performing for their peers, or practicing with the school orchestra, the melodies of the music room are a much-loved addition to the ambiance of the school.
Pottery Atelier
The soothing qualities of clay are a benefit our students are able to take advantage of with the addition of our in-house pottery atelier. Developing clay-working techniques, expanding their diverse creativities, and improving motor skills and sensory development are all at their fingertips!
Additional Spaces
We have a number of additional spaces we use regularly as part of our expanded facilities for both school day and extra-curricular activities. These include a ballet studio and a large indoor gym, both adjacent to our school building.
Dining Hall
Our dining hall is a vibrant communal eating space where our students are able to socialise with their peers and teachers, expand their palette by experiencing culturally rich cuisines, and enjoy nutritious meals.
