When your child joins Brilliant Stars, your whole family is joining a vibrant community. Below is information about admission at Brilliant Stars as well as a schedule and outline of our admissions process.

Admissions Process

  1. Applicant Admissions Enquiry:
    To initiate the process, we request a short admissions form (found below) to be filled out in order to receive the necessary information. Applications are processed on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Early application is strongly encouraged in order to guarantee space. 
  2. Visit and Knowledge Check:
    Prospective families will then be invited for a visit to the school. This is a chance for families to meet the admissions staff to discuss the curriculum and get to know more about life at Brilliant Stars.
    All prospective students are asked to visit the school with their parents to take part in a friendly informal knowledge check. For our international students, we schedule an online call with a follow-up visit upon arrival. 

    *For School Only: Brilliant Stars International School requests that parents/guardians of all school applicants provide current school records including transcripts and reports from the previous year, if applicable, and any psychological evaluations.
  3. Admissions Decision:
    Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. We will inform you as soon as our admissions team has made a decision.

Fees

We will only accept a limited number of students for each grade so as to maintain small class sizes. We will register children throughout the year as long as space is available. For our youngest nursery students, we offer an initial one-month part-time schedule that is decided on a case-by-case basis.

    • *Fees do not include school meals, in-house instrumental lessons, some optional extra-curricular activities, and residential trips.

    • Sibling Discount

      We offer sibling discounts to families who have three or more children enrolled at our school. A 5% discount is offered for the third child enrolled. Further discounts are decided on a case-by-case basis.

    • Scholarships

      Every year, we offer a number of scholarships at Brilliant Stars for our primary and secondary school students. We award scholarships to students and families who demonstrate academic and character excellence. Scholarships are awarded and reviewed annually by our director.

Brilliant Stars is Closed on State Holidays.

I have two children at Brilliant Stars' and I am delighted with the care and approach of all of the staff towards childcare and education in the early years. Both my children are flourishing under their academic, social and moral guidance. My older child has loved the use of Jolly Phonics (a UK approach to teaching literacy) as a learning tool and enjoys his numeracy, science, art and music lessons. The kindergarten also offers a wide variety of extra activites and has a lending library. Finally, and one of the key reasons why I chose this kindergarten, is that the head teacher is an inspiration to everyone involved with the kindergarten - very proactive, accommodating, hands-on and very focused on the children and what is best for them. I can highly recommend this kindergarten and given the high standard they have set can only expect their new Stupava branch to be just as good.
